I've always had a passion for stories, and over the past eight years I've worked across journalism and marketing helping to unearth and tell important stories in engaging ways. I've met passionate entrepreneurs, learned about fascinating technologies, covered the odd breaking news story, and generally never sat still for very long!
My background is in journalism, and I've written and edited for trade and consumer magazines, newspapers, digital publications, blogs, and social media. More recently, I've delved deeper into SEO, copywriting and digital marketing, and I've also edited several self-published non-fiction manuscripts and short stories. I now work for a range of clients providing editorial services including content writing, copy editing and creative consultation. I have an insatiable curiosity and have shape-shifted my writing to countless tones of voice, topics and formats. I've loved delving deep into different worlds through my work, including writing about the growth of the sustainability movement, interviewing passionate start-up founders, digging into technical subjects, and exploring more about health and wellness. I'm also an avid reader, and I try to carve out time most days to work on my own work in progress, which is about nature, connection, and other fantastic things. Born in Ohio, USA, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in journalism and creative writing. I moved to the UK in 2016 and now live in Colchester, not far from London. |
